Information Design? Information Design!

Information Design has the purpose to visualize a given set of information according to its complexity and intended communicative message. This can be achieved either with the help of a digital application or with an analog product. The aim should always be to understand the individual demands of each project and then to work out an appropriate visual and technical concept. As an information designer I am familiar with the development of creative and usuablitiy concepts as well as with the technology and information architecture necessary for them. That is why I see myself neither as a coder nor as a designer only, but rather as an interface between both fields. Each of my works is concepted to blur the borders between design and technology.

Approach

My primary target is to develop a work that is always as easy, natural and pleasant as possible, and which can communicate and visualize even complex ideas and information in a precise, agile, keen and effective way. My creative process is always backed by values such as sustainability, agility, fervor and curiosity. My experiences with visual and technical concepts, prototypes and user-centered designs create products which suit not only the necessities of the client but also the specific needs of the user.

Experience

Since 2001 I have experienced both scenarios: I have worked on several projects individually as a freelancer as well as in interdisciplinary teams. I am always on the lookout for freelancing projects or employments worldwide.
